About the Programme
This ARUCAD department was created to train qualified performers who can contribute to the dissemination and development of the art of movement, which dates back to the beginning of humanity.
The curriculum offers an ideal balance of theory and practice, and the interdisciplinary approach creates a supportive environment for collaboration with Sound Art and Design students. At the end of each semester, students can present the result of their work to the public.

Portfolio Criteria
VIDEO 1
1- Contemporary Dance Free Flow:
A choreographic work or dance improvisation created by the candidate in his/her own style (the use of music, accessories, costumes etc. are applicable). Indoor or outdoor desired place. In such a way that his whole body (from the height) and all his movements are visible (general angle. In a single flow without interruption/assembly. At least 2 minutes long. The video was taken the last 1 month as a separate file (the title of the work and the applicant’s name and surname will be included in the file name).
VIDEO 2:
1- Dance Technique: The candidate shows the series of movements belonging to one or more dance techniques (hip-hop, ballet, folklore, ballroom dance, contemporary technique, Skinner Release, Graham, Cunningham, Flying Low, Gaga etc.) At least 2 minutes long. Videos are taken in the last 1 month as a separate file (the title of the work and the applicant’s name and surname will be included in the file name)
