English Preparatory School
About the School
To begin studying at ARUCAD faculties, undergraduate students need to have English skills of B1 level, and postgraduate students need to have English skills of B2 level. The English Preparatory School (EPS) was established to assist students lacking necessary language skills in acquiring the proficiency needed for advanced studies. Depending on students’ prior knowledge, preparatory classes may take one to two academic years to complete.
In addition to teaching English at a level sufficient for interdisciplinary studies, EPS will facilitate the transition into academic and professional environments by nurturing presentation and academic writing skills, integrating relevant vocabulary and skills into learning, promoting independent and professional growth, and encouraging teamwork and cultural exchange among students.
In line with ARUCAD’s vision, EPS is constantly changing and evolving alignment with international teaching standards, as well as with the university and its students.
